You can do better!

This term we will all be blogging together...so I thought it was time I had a go too!













Have a look at this laptop, it is part of what is known as the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) program that aims to provide millions of children in third world countries with basic computing capability and most importantly access to the internet. It is said to cost $100

It is very cute don't you think!!

Here is another interesting device, the EEE PC from Asus. Similar idea, minimal computing power. The laptop relies upon web based aplications, ie. uses web based software, processing and storage (similar to all those google applications you found on the Google site under "more"). Again, very cute, dimensions are 22 cm x 16 cm - this one is said to cost under $400!
